Tracking Trends

Individual session scores tell part of the story. Trends reveal your learning journey over time - where you've improved, where you've plateaued, and where to focus next.

Understanding Trend Data

The Trend Chart

Your dashboard includes a line chart showing scores over time:

  • X-axis - Sessions in chronological order
  • Y-axis - Your scores (0-100)
  • Line - Your performance trajectory

Trend Indicators

The dashboard shows:

  • Improving - Scores trending upward
  • Stable - Consistent performance
  • Declining - Scores trending downward

When scores are rising:

  • Your practice is paying off
  • You're building mastery
  • Keep doing what you're doing

When scores stay consistent:

  • You've reached a plateau
  • Consider changing your approach
  • Focus on specific weak areas to break through

When scores are falling:

  • You may need more practice time
  • Review fundamentals in declining areas
  • Consider if external factors are affecting performance

Setting Goals

Short-term Goals

  • Improve one specific area by your next session
  • Achieve a target score on a particular topic
  • Complete a set number of practice sessions

Long-term Goals

  • Reach "Superior" level in all areas
  • Maintain consistent scores across topics
  • Build confidence for your actual exam

Tracking Specific Areas

In addition to overall trends, track individual rubric areas:

  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Click on a specific area in the radar chart
  3. See that area's trend over time
  4. Identify if some areas improve faster than others

Regular Check-ins

  • Review trends weekly
  • Look for patterns across multiple sessions
  • Adjust practice based on what you see

Before Important Practice

  • Review which areas need focus
  • Plan to address weak spots
  • Set specific goals for the session

Celebrating Progress

  • Notice improvements, even small ones
  • Acknowledge when you reach goals
  • Use progress as motivation to continue
