Passkey Setup

Passkeys provide a secure, password-free way to access your StratBrain account. Here's everything you need to know about setting up and using passkeys.

What is a Passkey?

A passkey is a modern authentication method that replaces traditional passwords. Instead of remembering a password, your device (phone, tablet, or computer) stores a secure credential that only works with your biometrics or device PIN.

Benefits of passkeys:

  • More secure - Can't be phished or stolen like passwords
  • Easier to use - Just use your fingerprint, face, or device PIN
  • No memorization - Your device handles the authentication

Setting Up Your Passkey

When prompted during signup or login:

  1. Choose how to authenticate Your device will offer options like fingerprint, face recognition, or PIN

  2. Complete the verification Use your chosen method to confirm your identity

  3. Passkey created Your passkey is now stored securely on your device

Using Your Passkey

Each time you sign in to StratBrain:

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Click "Sign In"
  3. Your device will prompt you to verify with your passkey
  4. Use your fingerprint, face, or PIN to complete sign-in

Multiple Devices

You can set up passkeys on multiple devices:

  • Your phone
  • Your tablet
  • Your laptop or desktop

Each device will have its own passkey, all linked to your StratBrain account.

Lost Access to Your Device?

If you lose access to your device with your passkey:

  1. Go to the StratBrain sign-in page
  2. Click "Account Recovery"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Follow the recovery link sent to your email
  5. Set up a new passkey on your current device
